Business Incubation & Innovation

The Challenge

Most small businesses and startups don't fail for lack of ambition. They fail for lack of access: to mentorship, to capital, to workspace, to the kind of structured guidance that turns an idea into a functioning company. That access is unevenly distributed, concentrated in major metro areas and expensive to build alone.

The Infrastructure

That access exists through the Georgia Enterprise Network for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, powered by Georgia Southern University. It brings together:

  • On-demand training — content and courses to grow a business on your own schedule
  • Live workshops — direct instruction from founders and mentors who've built and scaled their own companies
  • A statewide incubator network — physical spaces and community across multiple Georgia locations
  • Peer connection — access to other founders and innovators working through the same stages of growth

How Partnerships Work

Entrepreneurs and business owners join GENIE at whatever stage they're in, whether that's an early idea, a business already generating revenue, or a company looking to scale. From there, GENIE connects them to the specific mix of training, mentorship, and incubator resources suited to what they're building.
